It's Time for a Whole New Way of Talking About Homeopathy: with kids.

MARCH 28, 2024

We've been talking about homeopathy in America for years now - using clinical studies, testimonials, and 200-year-old books to make a point.  But the conversation hasn't been going very well lately.

The Food and Drug Administration, in the U.S., has taken action recently that has complicated access to some homeopathic remedies.1  There are strong voices inside and out of the wellness community that offer harsh criticism of homeopathy as can, for instance, be found in discussion threads about the passing of Steve Jobs.2  And some of our own friends and family members exhibit reservation about incorporating homeopathy in their health care, even when they are feeling stuck in their conventional treatments.

The truth is: there is something about homeopathy that works.3  And there are some things about homeopathy that don't work.3  Homeopathy is used in healthcare by more than 200 million people around the world in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Brazil, Chile, India and more.4  But so often a choice to defame homeopathy - or a more simple refusal to participate in homeopathy - seems to stem from a pre-conceived, subconscious position on alternative medicines in general.

Some believe that the early influence of the American Medical Association forbade natural medicines, such as chiropractic, homeopathy, and other energy based healing modalities, for reasons not related to safety or efficacy.  Others are concerned that loved ones will pursue alternative medicines exclusively, and come up short on a healing miracle.  Perhaps all that can be debated down the road.

But suffice it say, that homeopathy has offered relief to millions of people around the world, and conventional medicine has done the same.

I for one want to bring the potential of homeopathy into the awareness Americans who are seeking health, and let them experience it safely for themselves.  I do not want to challenge their trusted healthcare, only offer.

I believe it's time for a new way to talk about homeopathy that speaks to the subconscious, and that is: starting with kids. I invite you to join me in sharing a sweet and simple children's book that can help change of the story of homeopathy in America.

Emmalina and the Bee Sting Remedy is a children's book that shares the potential of homeopathy through the wonder of a child's eyes. This story is 1 of 6 popular stories in the Emmalina Book® series. Like the beloved children's characters Daniel Tiger and Pinkalicious, Emmalina's specialty is normalizing new experiences for children - but in this case she's discovering the wonder of natural medicines.

Emmalina and the Bee Sting Remedy gently speaks to the subconscious about homeopathy in America. It is an investment in future generations of adults, and it is a conversation with the inner child of parents today.
